These tracks are half baked and failed to go with the flow of the film. There is nothing concrete happening in the second half of the film and has some unwanted tracks. The second half has mild shades of humor, but goes on a dragging and predictable mode. His comic timing and one liners go well with the flow of the film.NikitinDheer and PareshGanatra are hilarious in parts.Asif Basra lends good support. Dialogues are enjoyable.It’s great to see Nawazuddin Siddiqui in such a different type of lead role. The humour quotient is good when it’s related to Nawazuddin and the golf game but at times it reminds you of the standup comedy shows from the televisions.The cinematography is decent.
The first half starts with some entertaining scenes featuring Nawazuddin and NikitinDheer. The story is simple and has mild similarities with Adam Sandler’s ‘Happy Gilmore’. The path for Ali is not as easy as it seems. KishanLal starts training Ali and gears him up for a qualification round. KishanLal (Asif Basra) is Ali’s neighbor and an experienced caddy, as per him Ali should utilize his natural talent. Ali uses his natural instincts and surprises everyone with his swings. Maqsood and Ali land up at the golf course to collect money from a rich businessman, at that time Ali is instigated to play golf. In order to make some quick money he starts helping Maqsood (Arbaaz Khan) to collect money for Danger Bhai (NikitinDheer). ‘Freaky Ali’ is a story of Ali (Nawazuddin Siddiqui) who keeps doing odd jobs for a better living. The expectations were high due to the hilarious trailer and sets a new career path for Nawzuddin. The trailer was launched by all the three Khan brothers and had a quirky humour attached to it. Nawazuddin’s association with Salman Khan not only got him his deserved popularity, but also fetched him a lead role in an entertaining film ‘Freaky Ali’. He got his mass popularity by doing films like ‘Kick’ and ‘BajrangiBhaijaan’. After a lot of struggle and hard work he has reached to the top and is considered among one of the finest actors from our country.
